The purpose of this Health and Safety plan is to allocate accountabilities and determine the safety procedures to be followed for the operation of plant and staff to ensure that a safe working environment is achieved. Where aberrations are found seeking staff feedback, implementing corrective actions and monitoring of the results to ensure that they are achieving the desired outcomes of a safe working environment will remedy these.
This plan will be reviewed on a regular basis (at least three monthly), by all staff employed by the company to ensure full compliance is being achieved and also to ensure that the plan has all the relevant information required in it for a contract of this type.

Your life is in your hands |

The most common accidents that occur on building sites throughout New Zealand are height related. And whilst most people can appreciate the risks of working on high structures such as office towers, large commercial buildings and factories etc, many do not understand that they can be just as seriously injured or even killed in a fall of just 5 metres or less.
The number of injuries and deaths from falls can be greatly reduced by:
- Designing and using the right equipment
- The proper installation of the equipment, and
- The proper training and supervision of all personnel
