PED5
The PED5 is used for confined space or work and rescue tasks. The device can work with a bosuns chair, harness or rescue sling. The kernmantle rope runs over a top and bottom pulley and the user can either ascend or descend independent of any other person, control being maintained by the ascender which can be either right or left handed. In rescue, or as an assist, another person can help raise or lower the user with an ascender, independent of the person in the chair or harness.

A simple to install rope system that can span between fixed anchorage points and provide a safe horizontal anchorage for multiple users. For construction and other applications Checkmate also offer its stanchion to provide single or multi-span protection. Simply run lines between stanchions and use a Y type lanyard to remain attached at all times.
